Serving Others
Serving others is a big part of our reason for being here at Good Shepherd. In addition to giving 10% of all of our income back to the community, we regularly find ways to connect with God's people through service outside of our church building. We believe that all of us have a gift and a way to use that gift in ministry. Want to find yours? We'll be glad to connect you with any of our service groups.
Here are just of a few of the local and global organizations that we support year-round: The Emergency Assistance Center (our local food pantry) The Cleveland Christian Home Week of Compassion (Disciples of Christ international aid) We are currently hosting a weekly Alcoholics Anonymous meeting every Monday from 7:30-8:30 pm in our Fellowship Hall. We are happy to have hosted the following organizations in our building pre-pandemic: Peripheral Neuropathy Support Group Calvary United Methodist Bible Study Girl Scouts |
St. Pauly Textiles Collection Drive
We partner with St. Pauly Textiles to collect and distribute used clothing to people in need around the world!
Cleaning out your home?
Want to donate your used clothes to someone in need?
Bring your gently used clothing, shoes, sneakers, belts, purses, linens, pillow cases, blankets, curtains, and stuffed animals to the drop-off shed at the back of our parking lot.
Please bag and tie-off all donations before placing in the shed. (That helps us keep the area clean.)
We DO NOT accept appliances, toys, books, or other large items.
