Our Mission & Vision

Good Shepherd Christian Church’s mission is to welcome a growing diversity of individuals and families to a place that offers connection to God and one another, sanctuary and rest for tired souls, and opportunities to give back to God through direct mission and service opportunities.  

Like most Christians we affirm that Jesus Christ is the son of the Living God who offers grace to all, and that all people are God's children. We practice open communion, freedom of belief, baptism by immersion, belief in the oneness of the church and the ministry of Jesus Christ.

We are committed to:

  • A faith based in love rather than fear
  • Following the way of Jesus by serving our neighbors in the pew, in the community, and around the world.
  • Growing in relationship to God and one another.
  • Welcoming ALL to the communion table, as Jesus welcomes us, regardless of place on their journey or faith background.
  • Recognizing we are not the only Christians and people of faith, therefore we value partnership beyond the doors of our local congregation.
